Job Description:
The Boilermaker's core focus is to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the company by completing Mechanical/Fabricating related tasks on heavy plant machinery used in our Underground Mining operations.

This role will be offered on a FIFO or DIDO 2/2 Roster based at our Darlot Gold Mine Operation.

Point of hire: PERTH, WA

Key responsibilities will include:

• Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture & performance of Vault Minerals and ensures that Company values are adhered to at all times.
• Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations.
• Assist in carrying out routine mechanical, repair and fabricating tasks including vehicle preparation, fitment and troubleshooting of Mobile Mining Equipment, aimed at improving equipment performance and reducing operational costs.
• Assist in other areas of the operation as required ensuring operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner

 Key factors to your success include:

• Trade qualifications - Boilermaking and or Welding (Australian recognised)
• Panel beating and TIG welding experience highly desirable
• Experience in Underground mining equipment bucket and tub maintenance
• Ability to work in both workshop and underground environments.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred
• HRWL - Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift Tickets (Desirable)
• Senior First Aid certificate (Desirable)
• Basic computer literacy
